We are going to release some clips from our kitesurf DVD Close Up the coming weeks. In this clip Aaron Hadlow, Kevin Langeree, Bruna Kajiya and the other 'actors' rock the spot. 28 Oktober 2007 - The Dutch Premiere of Close Up
Finally there is a prerelease of the long awaited 
kiteboaring action Rockumentary called 'Close Up' The hours invested to finalise this production are countless, the budgets heavily overgrown, but the movie is worth it all!
Visual Performers is proud of it's latest release: kitesurf dvd Close Up kiteboarding. Starring the worlds best riders, like Aaron Hadlow, Kevin Langeree, Ruben Lenten, Rui Meira, Petr Tyushkevich, Bruna Kajiya and there is a guest performance by Ceasar Portas. But that's not all.
Legend Robby Naish gives his input on the essence of kiteboarding as does PKRA Race director Olaf van Tol.
This movie takes you to the essence of kiteboarding, a documentary that is timeless and that can be enjoyed endlessly.
So 28th of October there will be e pré viewing of the movie for a small selected audience. The latest remarks will be taken into account as the final release will go into production early November. It will be available Half november, we will keep you updated at this site, so check back for a special early bird offer, on this new kiteboarding movie!

Editting frenzy...
Our eyes are getting square like our monitor, our tan has faded to an ill white, we live, sleep and eat behind the editting terminals, but the movie is progressing nicely! We are taking the time to really get the best out of all the materiaal we have shot. Besides the breathtaking action shot in all the different locations ranging from flat to sick bigwaves, showing you the styles from big air, to tec new scool, the upcoming close up will give you behind the scenes background info on the sport that we all love so much! PKRA's Olaf van Tol, Robby 'the icon' Naish himself and of course all the riders are giving us an insight on the soul of this sport...
Just give us a bit more time and we'll get it just right! For now, some more behind the scenes shots to keep you entertained!
Keep on riding as we turn it up a notch.

Production notes
Tons off material!!!
Editing the film is always a bitch. But the stuff we shot in South Africa looks very good. Due to some problems with the camera rental place we were forces to shoot on a much more expensive camera, we where really stoked to see the quality of the images once we capatured them into the edit set, the where so clear and sharp. (for the techincal people, we where going to shoot DVCAM en we turned out shooting on Digital Betacam)..
The editing is going well, give it month or two and the DVD will be ready!

South Africa Trip
In Januari we went to South Africa to shoot with Kevin Langeree, Aaron Hadlow, Petr Tyushkevich, Rui Meira, Ruben Lenten, Jalou Langeree and Bruna Kajiya. It was somertime over there so the wind should be blowing full force. Our only concern was if we where going to get some waves, but our rituals on the beach back in Holland had payed off, a big sumer swell hit the shores of capetown and presented us with perfect conditions for wave riding sessions. Next to the waveriding we had some very nice freeslyle sessions at Bigbay, Langebaan, The Lake etc. After shooting with these guys in Venezuela it was just amazing to see the new tricks the came up with during the last season. Especially the double handlepasses, the where sticking them like eating a peanut.

Production notes
Visual Performers is working on a new film project starring the best riders in the sickest conditions. At this moment the film is in production and therefore we are not able to share much of this new footage with you.To still give you a slight idea of what we are up to, we have posted some cool photos of a trip we recently made, check the gallery. Expect more photos and unreleased footage in the near future!
